The accelerando overcomes all root spells, no matter the source. It's a bug.
It actually "overcomes" spirit of the wolf and spirit of cheetah too. It
probably overcomes other things that slow you down, like clinging darkness too.

Basically, speed altering effects in EQ seem to only remember the most recent
change, so if you have spirit of the wolf on you, then sing the accelerando,
then stop, you'll be moving at regular speed. And so on, and so on...

I have /bugged this in many forms. Using it could be considered an exploit, but
I do so when the alternative is death. :)
