 </span></blockquote>Spiders often have halfling parts.  I&#39;m pretty sure it&#39;s a reference to The<br/>
Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, both of which had spiders who enjoyed eating<br/>
halflings (or trying to in any case).<br/>
