The NPCs don't really fit any of the PC classes. I've seen
casters backstab (with their fists no less), casters using
two-handed swords, etc. This is partly what makes charm so
great - that green caster can probably put your party's monk
to shame when it comes to dishing out damage in hand-to-hand
combat. :-) You become the beneficiary of a blatantly
unequal NPC/PC combat system.
