To rehash the earlier messages, I miss a lot of notes when trying to twist.
I estimate my twisting success rate only around 33%. My initial question
was what is causing me to fail? A followup question was will I get better at
twisting when my bard skills, i.e. singing and instruments go up, or is my
ability to twist forever hampered due to decisions made on primary stats
when I created my character.

Here are my characters stats as well as I can remember them:
STR: 76
STA: 67
AGI: 99
DEX:95
WIS Base value for wood elf
INT: Base value for wood elf
CHA: 91

Bardic skills:

Singing: 45 (max for 8th level bard)
Percussion: (45 max for 8th level bard)
String: 35 (still room for advancement but I don't play an instrument in
combat so this shouldn't have an affect when I'm singing Hymn of
Restoration).

I haven't had a chance to play since I made the original post but the next
time I do I will start keeping record of my success rate when twisting.
