Subject: RE: Chain vs. snare

of course it depends on the group. but you will eventually run into this,
and i think we are just trying to give you a heads up of what to expect. i
have never had one chain last a whole fight. it can last several seconds,
but even on greens it won't last nearly as long as snare. if you have a
ranger or druid in the group, and they are doing a consistently good job of
snaring, you should loet them. it is superior to chain if they are doing
their job. if they are doing poorly, tell them to start doing their job or
you will do it for them. i have been in groups with rangers/druids where
this is done well, and others where it is not. hell i even forget or don't
chain in time because the mob's health bar is lagged to me. bottom line: if
those snaring are doing their job, then snare is better for keeping the mobs
from running, it lasts longer and is broken out of less. and yes i have
gotten my bard past level 23.
