Subject: RE: travels behind the scenes and the infamous 'cat room' OT

This is my guess. Most MUD based games have special rooms created by the
game masters (generally called wizards, gods, etc.) that are their
workshops. In these workshops are the parent items of things in the game. It
could be that these npc's are the parent objects of the npc's that we see in
the game and when one gets killed it gets cloned from this parent npc.

Good Journey,

8)Didn't someone on this list fall victim to the infamous
8)wcommons/befallen
8)'cat room' bug? I was wondering how one could get into that
8)room. I have
8)seen screenshots of it, and of Befallen using the Eye of
8)Zomm, but I don't
8)recall anyone saying how they got stuck in there. The
8)screenshot I remember
8)most was the one showing several npc shopkeeper's caught in
8)the room as well
8)along with several other creatures including a young kodiak.
8)Anyone have
8)any more info on this?
