Elemental and Guardian Rhythms (and Purifying Rhythms)
increase your magic resist by the *same* amount. The only
advantage of Guardian Rhythms is that it has a slightly better
AC buff, and that it stacks with the other Rhythm songs.
Elemental Rhythms increases your fire and cold resist as well
as magic resist.

So if you're only playing one Rhythm song, it should be
Elemental. Use Guardian if you're playing two.
