I found a quicker, easier way of placing an item that is currently on your
cursor (sword, shield, instrument) into your character's hand. Just click on
your picture while in the inventory screen - the item is automatically
placed onto your body (this works for ALL held or worn items). I used to
speed-loot my corpse this way when i needed to, and also switch between
weaps and instruments.
