Subject: Targetting Mobs

On targetting mobs:

I have a great deal of difficulty clicking on players or mobs and have it
actually work correctly unless the mob or player practically fills my screen.
What I've done is mapped the "target closest NPC" (there is such a function,
go look) to my 'W' key. So NORMALLY I simply press 'W' and then 'E' (which is
my attack key) in rapid succession and I'm fighting the closest mob.
Occassionally I'll target a mob behind me instead, but this usually isn't a
big problem because you get the "you can't see your target" message. Then I
simply resort to clicking on the mob (and repositioning myself if need be).

Now, with that said, I'm coming to regret my decision to map the most commonly
used letter in the English alphabet (E) to be my attack key. I have to be
extremely cautious when conversing with NPCs that I have the text entry window
up before blasting out a string of text. Many times I've been conversing with
some blood-red NPC, started typing, and hear the attack music come on. As far
as I can remember, I've been able to stop every attack before I actually took
a swing at the NPC... So far...
