Psychology 101 :)

Of Positive and Negative Reinforcement to behavior, (human behavior).
Postive reinforcment will always have a more lasting effect. This is
because negative reinforcement can cause resentment and confusion.

I do think that it is a good thing that we lose exp when we die. It keeps
the game interesting. But I wanted to comment on the pos neg thing.

Systems engineering 101. Positive and zero feedback systems
are inherently unstable. Negative feedback systems are
stable. If the negative penalties for an incorrect behavior
do not outweigh the potential rewards, that behavior will
proliferate (go unstable). Case and point - insta-res thieves
in UO.

like cogs in a wheel, so I can say stuff like this. :-)
