I'm not entirely sure fists fit the standard weapon damage formulas. They
definitely do not for monks, I'll have to unretire my warrior on Sol Ro and
check it out. I was under the impression that fists did go up in dmg value
for everyone, but slowly.

>I'd hit for 5 a lot but 6 or 7 was max I'm pretty sure.

Fists: DMG: 2
Crystalline Blade: DMG: 11.

Level 5 player using crystalline blade (DMG * 2 + 1) 23 max.
Level 38 player using crystalline blade (??) 40 max.

Punching, same story.

Level 5, (DMG * 2 + 1) 5 max. (rarely, but it is the max)
Level 38, (??) 8 max.

23/40 = 0.575
5/8 = 0.625

those numbers are close enough meaning I probably haven't hit my
max dmg on my blade yet. (40 was the most I've seen so far).

What I'm getting at is 5 is the most damage you are gonna do til
level 15-20, when the dmg multipliers change. But the ratio never
changes. I wish I knew the multiplier at my level. (DMG * 3.66)??

My max dmg on a 6dmg weapon is 22.
My max dmg on a 11dmg weapon is 40.

Both those lead to a multiplier of 3.66

2 dmg fists * 3.66 = ceil(7.32) = 8.

Lots of math to back me up here, although it may not be 'Verant
math' which is known to exist.
