You were lucky then, I think I spent 80% of my last 13 levels there and saw
it 3 times I think. Last time was this week-end and I managed to pull it, we
got gladius but I (as usual) didn't win the lottery. :)
PS: the fiend is found on the 1st floor, not the basement. (well, I didn't
actually see it spawn but that's where I found it and heard it was roaming)
