Anything is better than "Lambent".
Who comes up with this stuff?
Personally, I would have named it Resonant Plate or something along those
lines. Maybe the breastplate was enchanted to resonate in harmony to
whatever instrument you were playing, amplifying it somewhat and making it
slightly more powerful.
Now THAT is class specific.
