I've gotten the stones of giants and griffons so far in West Commons, Lake
Rathe and North Karana. I'm sure they all drop them, these are just the
places I've hunted for them. I've even bought two of them for 15pp apiece
on Solusek Ro.
Lambent armor is NOT no drop so someone else can do the quest for you.
