I don't know about Grimfeather, but I recently had the opportunity to charm
fight a Hill Giant and a Griffon. I would have bet money that the Griffon
would win, but the Hill Giant totally ripped him a new orifice. The HG
finished the fight with 1/4 to 1/3 of his hitpoints. I lead the giant off a
ways, then ran back to the Griff corpse and looted it. Lo and Behold!! 5
silver, 7 copper! :)
