That's a common problem with human nature. Given a choice
between (A+B) or 2*(A/2+B/2), most will pick (A+B), even
though both are identical. I suspect given a choice between
(A+B) or 2*(0.7A+0.7B), most would still pick (A+B). People
are just not very good at doing comparisons that span multiple
criteria, and prefer the simplicity of "tank + mage" over
"mage-like tank + tank-like mage" even if the latter is
better.

With my lullaby going, my party of 5-6 were taking on other
people's trains of 4-8 blue-yellow (occasionally red) mobs in
Befallen without much danger. It was almost comical how
everything would stop dead in its tracks and wait its turn for
us to kill it. (You do need a healer though, because I ended
up taking most of the damage due to mobs occasionally waking
up and taking a swipe at me before going to sleep again.)
