I'm pretty sure those lights are what's doing it. When you
play a party song, the invisible folks get the lights, and the
mobs can see them. I wouldn't be surprised if the same piece
of code is being called when the lights show up on other
people when you use an AE song.

It has to be a pretty specialized case. Normally if you play
an AE song, the mobs will be more interested in attacking you
than anyone else. When it happened to me, I had an undead
train behind me in Lower Guk. Undead tend not to be very
picky about whom they attack, and most of them were chasing me
because they were following the frogs that were spooked by my
initial Screech, so didn't have a firm attachment to me.

Anyways, it's a trivial thing to test.
