The L40 song (anti-magic aura) is cancel magic, but generally
too slow to be used for this purpose. Say you're hit with
engulfing darkness that slows you to a crawl. You hit
yourself with anti-magic aura, then hit Accelerando. That's
at least 6 seconds for the mob to bash/hit/cast on you. With
a pumice stone, you just start up Accel, use the pumice stone
on yourself, and by this time Accel should kick in and you're
out of there in 3 seconds.
