Michael J Pan

Michael Pan is the Founder and CEO of Nephosity. He has over 10 years experience in distributed, grid, and cloud computing paradigms. Prior to Nephosity, Michael worked at DreamWorks Animation, where he was the lead for the studio renderfarm workflow system, and is credited on films such as Shrek the Third, Kung Fu Panda, how to Train Your Dragon, and most recently, Shrek Forever and After. Before that, Michael led the workflow computing group at the Center of Computational Biology, established by the NIH at UCLA. He has also worked at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory and HP Labs on other distributed and webscale computing projects. Michael has a M.S. in computer science from UCLA and a B.A.S. in digital media from the University of Pennsylvania.
