# Third-party notices

Leaf Reader vendors two small JavaScript libraries so EPUB reading works offline and does not depend on a CDN.

- EPUB.js 0.3.93, copyright FuturePress, BSD 2-Clause. Its license is at `web/vendor/EPUBJS-LICENSE`.
- JSZip 3.10.1, copyright Stuart Knightley, David Duponchel, Franz Buchinger, António Afonso, MIT or GPLv3. Its license is at `web/vendor/JSZIP-LICENSE`.

The original source archives are retained in the development checkout for provenance and excluded from release commits.

The EPUB files under `starter-books/` are separate public-domain/CC0 assets, not MIT-licensed Leaf Reader software. Their exact editions, sources, rights, sizes, and checksums are recorded in [STARTER_BOOKS.md](STARTER_BOOKS.md).
