![PageMark Logo](/icons/texticon.svg) # PageMark **PageMark** is a powerful browser extension that lets you create and manage Markdown notes linked to specific webpages or URLs. Ideal for researchers, developers, students, and anyone who wants to take contextual notes while browsing. ## Features - Create rich **Markdown notes** for individual pages, domains, or paths - Automatically links notes to specific URLs - **Supports LaTeX** expressions via `$...$` and `$$...$$` for math rendering - Stores notes locally (via `chrome.storage`) - Full-text search across your notes (coming soon) - Clean, intuitive UI with fast note creation from the popup - Dedicated settings page for customization ## Getting Started 1. Unzip the file and you should have a folder named `PageMark`. 2. In Chrome/Edge go to the extensions page (chrome://extensions or edge://extensions). 3. Enable Developer Mode. 5. Click Load unpacked and select the `PageMark` folder 6. Press the extension icon to open the notepad, - Alternatively, use the keyboard shortcut `Cmd+Shift+Y` or `Ctrl+Shift+Y` 7.
