Displays site locations on map, provides validation tools to check files for conformance with basic requirements as well as the Linked Earth Wiki and NOAA data upload profiles. Allows saving data files to local computer in either LiPD package format (.lpd), or according to NOAA requirements. Data can be pushed (uploaded) to the Linked Earth Wiki or the Lipdverse.   The LiPD Playground is great for creating and editing files on a file-by-file basis. It also works well for doing a quick glance at the data and making sure it looks correct. LiPD files can be further  processed using LiPD Utilities for  basic functions of reading, writing, and managing LiPD files, and GeoChronR or PyleoClim to handle more advanced functions for analysis and visualization in R and Python respectively.",
