# Vangogh

This is a demo for [TEI Publisher](https://teipublisher.com/) and [eXist-db](https://exist-db.org/) based on data provided under a CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license.

For the canonical version see Leo Jansen, Hans Luijten, Nienke Bakker (eds.) (2009), [Vincent van Gogh - The Letters](http://vangoghletters.org/).
Version: December 2010. Amsterdam & The Hague: Van Gogh Museum & Huygens ING.

Facsimile images are hosted by Van Gogh Museum & Huygens ING.

## Code

This app was originally generated from TEI Publisher 5.0.0 and slightly modified to:

* adjust indexes and facet definitions to the structure of the letters
* change filter and search options to match the letters
* apply a fancier, more playful design to `index.html` and `templates/pages/vangogh.html`

No other changes were necessary. All the components used are already provided by TEI Publisher.
