Overview

mycel is a Chrome extension that helps users find Reddit posts relevant to their keywords. This policy explains what data is collected and how it is used.

Data We Collect

mycel collects no personal data. Specifically:

• Keywords and product names you enter are stored locally in your browser. Never transmitted to any server other than Reddit's public search API.
• Search results from Reddit are stored locally in your browser only.
• Seeding progress is stored locally in your browser only.

Data We Do Not Collect

• No personally identifiable information.
• No analytics or tracking.
• No data sent to our servers (we have none).
• No data shared with third parties.

Third-Party Services

mycel uses Reddit's public search API (reddit.com) to retrieve publicly available posts. Governed by Reddit's Privacy Policy.

Data Storage

All data is stored locally using Chrome's built-in storage API. Uninstalling the extension permanently deletes all data.
