Use `await` instead of `andThen` test wait helper.

It's no longer necessary to use the `andThen` test wait helper now that the cleaner [async/await](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/JavaScript/Reference/Statements/async_function) syntax is available.
