# Trademarks and affiliation

Claude S40 is an **unofficial** hobby project. It is not made, endorsed,
sponsored or supported by Anthropic or by Nokia / HMD.

- "Claude" and the Claude logo are trademarks of Anthropic. The project
  uses the name and a drawn version of the mark with permission obtained by
  the maintainer; that permission does not extend to forks. If you
  redistribute a modified version, rename it and replace the mark
  (`app/src/io/github/emir/claudes40/Logo.java`, `app/tools/make_art.py`).
- "Nokia" and product names such as "Nokia 6300" are trademarks of their
  owners and are used only to describe compatibility. No Nokia logos or
  artwork are included; the phone frame in the promo images is generic.
- The MIT license in [LICENSE](LICENSE) covers the code, not these marks.
