This record registers a gift of sheep for a lamp to the temple of Tiruvūṟal-Āḻvār by a certain Kumaraḍi-naṅgai in the 7th year of king Pārthivēndrādhipativarman.

Hail ! Prosperity ! In the 7th year (of the reign) of king Pārthivēndrādhipativarman, Kumaraḍi-naṅgai, daughter of Nandiri-naṅgai, daughter of Dēvaṉār of Tiruvūṟal, (a suburb) of Takkōlam, gave ninety-six sheep which would neither die nor grow old, to the god (āḻvār) of Tiruvūṟal for a perpetual lamp. Paiyaṉ Tiruvūṟal was the shepherd who took charge (of these ninety-six sheep) and agreed to supply daily one uḻakku of liquid ghee (neyyeṇṇai). The sacred feet of those who protect this charity shall be on (my) head.
