This records a gift of 300 and odd sheep for the maintenance of 3(1/2) perpetual lamps in the temple of Perumāṉaḍigaḷ at Tiruviśalūr in Avaninārāyaṇa-chaturvēdimaṅgalam by Pūrvadēviyār, the mother of Mādēvaḍigaḷ (king ?). Pūrvadēviyār seems to connote merely ‘the elder queen or the queen-mother.’ The palaeography of the record and the high regnal year of the king make it assignable to Parāntaka II Sundara-Chōḷa.
