In the 12th year of Rājanārāyaṇa Śambuvarāja,—Nallāttāḷ, the daughter of Maṇṇai-Poṉṉāṇḍai, (an inhabitant) of Poṉṉūr, caused the blessed Vihāra-nāyaṉār, Poṉṉeyil-nātha,With poṉṉeyilnāthar·, “the lord of the golden fortress,” compare poṉṉeyiṟkōṉ, which, according to Winslow, is the same as arukaṉ (Arhat). to be raised to the holy mountain of Vaigai (Vaigai-Tirumalai).
