This inscription is dated in the Ānanda year, which was current after the expiration of the Śaka year 1296, and during the reign of Ommaṇa-uḍaiyar, the son of Kambaṇauḍaiyar and grandson of Vīra-Kambaṇa-uḍaiyar.Vishṇu-Kambuḷi-nāyaka seems to have bought from the villagers of Śambukula-Perumāḷ-agaram, alias Rājagambhīra-chaturvedi-maṅgalam.Rājagambhīra-Śambuvarāyaṉ and his biruda Śambukula-Perumāḷ; see No. 74.MurugamaṅgalapaṟṟuMaṇḍaikuḷa-nāḍu, a division of Palakuṉṟa-koṭṭam,Jayaṅkoṇḍa-Choḷa-maṇḍalam. The four last lines, which consist of signatures, have not been transcribed, as they are somewhat obliterated.
