This inscription registers an endowment of land after purchase for feeding a Vēda-Brāhmaṇa every midday in the temple at Tiruviśalūr by Pirāntakaṉ Iruṅgōḷaṉ alias Śiṟiyavēḷār of Koḍumbāḷūr, who was a general of king Parāntaka II Sundara-Chōḷa.
