This records an endowment of two pieces of land and a house-site by the sabhā of Murugavēḷ-maṅgalam, a brahmadēya in Kurukkai-nāḍu on the north bank, for the maintenance of three persons sounding the kāḷam and gong during the śrībali service in the temple of Mahādēvar Maṅgala-Nakkar in the village. One of these lands and the house are said to have belonged to two brothers and, after their demise without issue, to have gone under the ward of the assembly.
