This is an incomplete and damaged inscription recording the endowment of a land made after purchase and reclamation, by Nakkaṉ' Kāñjaṉ, a merchant of Tiruppaḻaṉam, for the maintenance of two gardeners employed for the upkeep of the two flower gardens given to the temple by his father Viśākaṉ Nakkaṉ.
