This is stated to be a copy of an old inscription. It records an agreement by the sabhā of Tirukkōḍikā alias Kaṇṇamaṅgalam in Nallāṟṟūr-nāḍu on the northern bank (of the river), to make immune from all taxes, a piece of land sold by them to a resident of the village by name Āttiraiyaṉ Kiḻavaṉ Kōḍikāvaṉ who endowed it to the temple of Mahādēva as meḻukkuppuṟam, i.e., for the maintenance of a servant for cleaning the premises.
