This inscription is left incomplete. It registers the sale by the peruṅguṟisabhai of Śrīkaṇṭha-chaturvēdimaṅgalam, a brahmadēya on the southern bank, of the right of using the water in their tank for irrigating a land endowed to the temple of Tiruveṟumbiyūr-Āḻvār after purchasing the same from the sabhā of Peruveṅgūr, by Veṇbai . . . . Vēdivēḷār ‘who built the śrīvimāna’ of the God (See No. 51 above). Land for digging a channel to carry the water to the land by means of a sluice from this tank is also stated to have been sold to the donor by the sabhā. This is probably a record of the reign of Rājarāja I.
