The inscription is built in in the middle. It seems to register the sale of some land by the ūrār (assembly) of Kaḷakkāṭṭūr in Āmūr-kōṭṭam, to Araiyaṉ Tillaikkūttaṉ alias Rājarāja-Aṇimuri-Nāḍāḷvāṉ who probably endowed it to the temple under the name Kalaikaḷābharaṇaṉ. The shrines of Kāḍugāḷ (Piḍāri) and Śāttaṉ (Śāstā) evidently situated within this land are specifically excluded in the transaction. The surname of the donor suggests that the inscription may belong to Rājarāja I.
