The inscription records a gift of 48 sheep for burning half a perpetual lamp in the temple of Āḻvār at Tiruviḍavandai, a dēvadāna of Paḍuvūr-nāḍu in Āmūr-kōṭṭam, made by Kētti the wife of Kaliyaṉ Āchchaṉ, a resident of the village, and left in charge of two local shepherds who were to supply the ghee under the supervision of the sabhā.
