The inscription is slightly damaged. It registers the gift of two forehead plates to the deity out of about 14 kaḻañju of gold collected as fine from 3 members of the nagarattār community of the village by Ayaṉ Kāmakkōḍaṉār while he was the investigating officer of the affairs of the temple (śrīkāryam) at Tirune[y*]ttāṉam. The name of one of the nagarattār is given as Ariñjigai Neyttāṉaṉ. This is possibly a record of the reign of Sundara-Chōḷa.
