On account of its decidedly early characters this inscription has been assigned to Āditya I (M.E.R. 1931, II. 4). This registers an endowment of 30 kaḻañju of gold for burning a perpetual lamp in the temple of Mahādēva at Tirutturutti, by Naṅgai Śāttaperumāṉār the bōgiyār (mistress) of the Chōḷa king. This donatrix figures also in No. 247 from Tillaisthānam dated in the 14th year of the king, published below.
