The inscription is damaged at the end. It records the gift of a perpetual lamp to the temple of Tiruvālanduṟai-Āḻvār at Ēmappēṟūr in Tirumuṉaippāḍi(-nāḍu) by a certain Kīttimāttāṇḍa-Mēṉiyaṉ of Peruṅkuṟumbu on behalf of his son Malli-Nambi. Kīrttimārttāṇḍa was a surname of the Rāshṭrakūṭa king, Kṛishṇa III. This might probably be a record of Sundara-Chōḷa.
