This slightly damaged record is dated in the 15th year of Jaṭāvarmaṉ Sundara-Chōḷapāṇḍya and relates to the gift of land made for the merit of the merchant community called nāṉā-dēśi-diśai-āyirattu-aiññūṟṟuvar, apparently of Pāṇḍi-maṇḍalam who were residing in the quarter called Rājēndraśōḻapperunderuvu probably at Rājarāja-chaturvēdimaṅgalam. This merchant-guild figures in a number of other records in the Tirunelveli district. The donor appears to be a member of this community named Śōlai-Aiññūṟṟuvaṉ.
