This is a damaged record consisting of six Sanskṛit verses in praise of the Pallava king Rājasiṁha or Narēndrasiṁha Atyantakāma who is given a number of epithets which help to identify him with Narasiṁha II. The Shore Temple at Mahābalipuram and the Tāḷapurisvara temple at Panamalai are representative of the type of architecture that prevailed in the time of Narasimha.
