This is dated in the 2nd year of Nandippōttaraiyar and records the construction of the mukha-maṇḍapa by Śelvavāṇarayaṉ, son of Amaṉi-Gaṅgaraiyar, who was ruling over Vittūr. It may be noted that Paḷḷikoṇḍa was called VichchūrA.R. No. 456 of 1925. The village Tiruvāṉakkōyil in the Chingleput district was also known as Vittūr (A.R. Nos. 284-286 of 1910).
Palaeographically, the present record may be attributed to the reign of Nandivarman III. In a later record viz., of the 10th year of the Chōḷa Parakēsarivarman from Tiruchchattuṟai in the Tanjore district, figures a chief of Paṅgaḷanāḍu named Bhuvani-Gaṅgaraiyan.Ep. Rep. for 1930-31, para 8.
