Whereas Vēḷār made a petition stating that a devadāna should graciously be given for the expenses aḻivu ... there is a devadāna.

The boundaries for the the pond ... are as follows: the eastern boundary is east of the western boundary ... north of ... east of ... the northern boundary is south of ...

The land comprised within these four boundaries, having remitted its taxes, having ... puravariThat is, puravuvari curukki, having removed its tenants, is given as a temple-land tiru-nāmattu-k-kāṇi.

In this manner the signature of Cōḻamūvēntavēḷāṉ.
