DHARMAbase Gifts of gold by Kaṇṭaṉ Kaṟṟaḷi, a tēvaputtira of the Aintaḷi, and by another donor (name lost), for the upkeep of two perpetual lamps, in honour, respectively, of the Mahādeva of the Aintaḷi of Koṭumpāḷūr and of another deity (name lost) of the Aintaḷi.

14th year of the king Rājakesarivarman, who, after having distributed pots in the cālai of Kantaḷūr, took the country of the Gaṅga, the country of the NuḷampaThat is, Noḷamba. and the Taṭikaivaḻi.

There are ten kaḻañcus of gold that Kantaṉ Kaṟṟaḷi, one among the tēvaputtiras of this temple, gave for one perpetual lamp for the Mahādeva of the glorious Aintaḷi of Kotumpāḷūr in the Uṟattūr-k-kūṟṟam.

There are also nine kaḻañcus of gold that gave for of the glorious templeAlternatively: "shrine". kōyil of this temple it-taḷi.

Let these be kaḻañcus of gold that the coin-tester of this temple takesThat is, "manages"..

This donation is under the protection of the Paṉmāheśvarars.

It-taḷi-t tiru-k-kōyil. Note the use of the synonyms taḷi and kōyil, the first to designate the entire complex made of five temples and the second to designate one of these five temples.
