Itu paṉmā hecuvara-rakṣai

Añn-taḷi The restoration is consistent with the spelling of the rest of the inscription. The recontructed original has to be fully normalised to Aintaḷi. hecuvara-rakṣai These are the only letters clearly readable on the third block.

13th year of kecarivarman

In this year, for the Mahādeva of the Aintaḷi at Koṭumpāḷūr in the Uṟattūrkkūṟṟam, one perpetual lamp cilat tirumeṟṟaḷi mātaṉ, one lamp for the twilight kaḻañcu, as long as the moon and the sun, a perpetual day-lamp Nakkaṉ Ceti

This donation is under the protection of the Paṉmāheśvaras.

The inscription Kotumpalur 7, another fragment on the site, possibly gives the beginning of lines 4-6.
