This is the manner in which, We, the villagers of Kīḻppūtūr in the Kāliyūrkōṭṭam, have given ... to Mātēvaṉār, the son of Perumpāṇaṉ Cakkaṭi Araiyar.

So that there be as tank kāṭi one kāṭi of paddy ... and so that there be assignement ... We have given, after sale viṟṟu and receiving gold from Mātēvaṉār, ...

In this manner/accordingly, there should be a fine taṇṭa-p-paṭuvatuLiterally: the fact of being fined/punished. of twenty-four kāṇams ... and of fourty-eight kāṇams ...

Whereas the villagers said so,That is, deliberated and agreed so. I, Ṛṣikeśavabhaṭṭa, a member of the assembly kūṭṭam of this Kīḻppūtūr, I wrote.
