Nineteenth year of the victorious king Ciṅkaviṇṇaparumaṉ.Sanskrit Siṁhaviṣṇuvarman.

This is the stone of Pilayācataṅkaḷ of the Puyanāṭu who went in battle pūcal and fell fighting, while Ciṟuppaṭuvāṉār, a relative makkaḷ of Pālāyiriyar, who rules āḷum in Ciṟuppāl, seized cattle at Karuṅkālippāṭi.

Pālāyiriyar, ruler of Ciṟuppāl = Pālācirikar, ruler of Ciṟuppāl (see inscription Pallava 406) = Pālāciriru, the ruler of Ciṟuppāḻ (see inscription Pallava 409).
