Prosperity! Fortune!

Seventeenth year of the victorious king Kampavikramavarman kampavikkiramaparumaṉ

The pious act that Pṛthiyaṅkaraiyar, the lord of this province/region nāṭu and his wife Ilāṭapperuntēviyār, both of them, did for their venerable son Ayyakkuṭṭi: a canal āṟṟu-k-kāl, literally "river-leg" which feeds kaṇṭa, literally "which sees" the lake/tank of Valivalakkamaṅkalam.

This canal ik-kāl is named after/owned by Viḻuppērararaiyaṉ.

This pious act id-dhammam, that is, id-dharmam, the feet of its protector are above my head.

Note on "venerable son Ayyakkuṭṭi". Could be "venerable daughter". Cf. EI.

Note on Pṛthiyaṅkaraiyar = Pṛthivīgaṅga. Cf. EI for discussion and identification of people mentioned.
