This is the stone of , the honourable son of Putaṇaṭi and the servant of the honourable KantaviṇṇaṉIt is not clear if the servant is the son, whose name is lost, or his father., he who fell nallaṉāy tirintu, when the honourable Kantaviṇṇaṉ, the son of Iṇṇapantar attacked eṟinta marching ceṉṟa upon mēl Vēlaṭṭuṇ against mēl the honourable Poṉṉarampaṉ, the son of poṇaimaṇaiṉṉār, one among the nephews of the royal Bāṇa king.
